Best part of the day

My favorite part of the day at placement is right when I get there. The kids are so excited to see us and all tackle us at once. There is not one time during the day where there aren't at least 3 children on top of you. I've just gotten used to being a human jungle gym; seriously! They all do this little thumb handshake and it is adorble when they are all holding up their thumbs for you to do it with them. I love it. Then as soon as their porridge is ready (which doesn't look much like porridge to me...), they all line up against the wall. They fold their arms, tightly squeeze their eyes shut and recite a blessing for their food. The first part is in ixosa, but at the end they say, "God is good. God is great. Thank you for this food to eat. AMEN!" By the end they are all screaming it and it is so cute! And it is so special to see them all praying together like this. I can't wait to take a video of it. I know that their Heavenly Father hears their prayers and loves each of them so much. I feel His love for them every day.
